Tamper Proof room temperature sensor

The duct sensor is used to measure the supply and return air temperature in HVAC system. There are several sensor elements to choose from which guarantee compatibility with all popular DDC systems. There is a precision thermistor. The probes are epoxy sealed to prevent moisture from migrating into the probe. Field calibration is not generally required. The standard probe length is 12 inch. This Probe Temperature Sensor is a 1K Platinum  coming standard with an 8″ length Stainless Steel Temperature Sensor.

This sensor is used to measure water temperature of heated or chilled water and other liquids found in the various mechanical systems of building. The sensor is especially intended for strapping to the outside of a pipe when there is no opportunity to install a well such as in a  retrofit or additions to an existing system.The strap on probe is useful in applications such as monitoring batteries, transformers, generators, and generally any place where a complete assembly can not be mounted,Ice rink slabs and soil temperature are other applications.
