This water flow sensor features a durable plastic valve body, a water flow rotor assembly, and a high-precision Hall sensor. You install it at the water inlet end of a water heater to detect incoming flow rates. When water passes through the rotor assembly, it drives the magnetic rotor to rotate at a speed that changes with the flow volume.
The Hall sensor tracks this rotation and outputs a corresponding pulse signal directly to your controller. The controller then uses this feedback to determine the exact water flow size and adjust the system for optimal regulation. This simple yet effective design ensures your water heater maintains consistent performance based on real-time demand.
